Mikko Lammi
Prof. Mikko Lammi currently works at Umeå University in Sweden. He started his research career at the Department of Anatomy at the University of Kuopio. He used to be the Research Director of Department of Applied Physics, University of Eastern Finland and Professor in Biochemistry, Department of Biosciences, University of Kuopio. His research interests include chondrocyte biology and cartilage tissue engineering and regeneration, materials science, osteoarthrosis, and Kaschin-Beck disease,etc. He has been engaged in chondrocyte biology and cartilage tissue engineering and regeneration research, and has achieved many important breakthroughs and obtained a series of innovative research results in the field of cartilage defect repair.
