Limin Wang
Prof. Limin Wang is currently the Director of Risk Factor Surveillance, National Center for Chronic and Non-Communicable Disease Control and Prevention, China CDC and is responsible for National Surveillance of Chronic Disease and Risk Factors. She successfully organized and implemented National China Chronic Disease and Risk Factors Surveillance 6 times from 2010 to 2013 and China Chronic and Nutrition Surveillance from 2015 to 2018 as well as a number of national large epidemiological surveys. She is leading the National Key R&D Program-the Key Technology Researchand Construction for Major Chronic Disease Surveillance Data Platform (KETCHUP) and has led or participated in more than 10 scientific and technological support projects of the Ministry of Science and Technology, special projects of public health industry and international and domestic cooperation projects. She has rich experience in prevention and control of chronic diseases, large epidemiological survey of chronic diseases and big data research. She has compiled and published 10 reports, such as "Report on Chronic Disease Risk Factor Surveillance in China" and "National Disease Surveillance System Data Set for Death Surveillance". She has also participated in several national chronic disease-related reports and the national policy formulation and has published more than 100 papers in domestic and international journals such as JAMA and Lancet.
