Dr. Xin Liu is an Associated Professor in the School of Public Health, Xi’an Jiaotong University. He got his PhD’s degree from the Institute for Nutritional Science, Shanghai Institute for Biological Sciences, Chinese Academy of Sciences in 2014, and worked in Nuffield Department of Population Health, University of Oxford as an academic visitor during 2016-2017. He is an Associate Editor for Nutrition & Metabolism (Springer Nature, IF=3.59), and the committee member of the Basic Nutrition Branch of Chinese Nutrition Society\Standing Committee Member, Nutrition and Food Safety Committee,Shaanxi Provincial Preventive Medical Association. He has been the PI of various international and national research grants, including the NSFC, Newtrition® Asian Research Grant, CNS-DSM funding, and the Chinese post-doctoral Science fund. Prof’ Liu’s research area mainly focused on the intervention studies and cohort studies in nutritional epidemiology and metabolic diseases. He has published over 20 peer-reviewed papers (10 of which are first/corresponding authors) in well-reputed journals such as Lancet Public Health, Diabetologia, and Clinical Nutrition.
