The 4th Belt & Road Initiative Global Health International Congress
& 2022 University Alliance of the Silk Road Health Forum

More than 170 authoritative experts, including leaders and experts from the World Health Organization (WHO), World Obesity Federation (WOF), International Diabetes Federation (IDF), National Health Commission of China (NHCC), Chinese Center for Disease Control and Prevention (CCDC), Chinese Preventive Medicine Association (CPMA) and Chinese Nutrition Society (CNS), Nobel Prize winners, academicians, editors of well-known international and domestic academic journals, university presidents and hospital deans will participate in the conference and conduct academic exchanges.
The conference consists of 24 sessions, including young-scholar forum and poster exhibition.
The conference includes the 2022 Annual Meeting of Obesity Prevention and Control Section of the Chinese Nutrition Society (CNS-OPCS), which has been enlisted in the "Top Academic conferences"(2021, 2022) of the China Association for Science and Technology for two consecutive years.

4. Conference registration
1) Registration fee:
(1) Only those who submit research abstracts need to pay the registration fee. Other participants are free of charge.
(2) The registration fee is adjusted as follows: 600CNY for general delegates and 300 CNY for students. Those who fail to register and pay by June 5th will be disqualified from the paper presentation and consideration for awards.
(3) Please upload the screenshot of the transaction as proof of payment. We will review your document and update the payment status before June 10th.
(4) Electronic invoice will be sent to the registered email address after the conference.
2) How to register:

(1) The paper submission for the conference was closed on April 29th. The acceptance result has been or will be sent to you by email.
(2) Some excellent abstracts will be selected for oral presentations in the Young Scholar Forum, and some will be selected for awards. Please refer to the notification email for detailed results.

8. Conference background
Health is an essential cornerstone for public well-being and happiness, contributing to. a country's prosperity and development. The Corona-virus disease 2019 (COVID-19) outbreak in early 2020 has posed a significant and far-reaching threat to many countries. Meanwhile, the burden of chronic diseases is escalating across all regions of the world. The resolutions of these health problems, including COVID-19 and chronic diseases, inevitably require interdisciplinary and transnational cooperation to build a community of a shared future for humankind.
The Global Health Research Institute (GHI) of Xi'an Jiaotong University, cooperating with other prestigious institutions from China and abroad, successfully held three Belt & Road Initiative Global Health International Congresses in 2017, 2018, and 2019. Well-known experts and leaders from WHO, the United Nations International Children’s Fund (UNICEF), NHC, Health Commission of Shaanxi Province, CCDC, Asia Pacific Clinical Nutrition Society, CPMA, CNS, Shaanxi Provincial Health Committee, prestigious universities at home and in abroad, and other health institutions participated and shared their ideas and views. Based on the success of the three Congresses since 2017, the 2022 Congress aims further to strengthen the interdisciplinary and international exchanges and cooperation, provide a communication platform for health-related policymakers, researchers, and other relevant personnel from China and abroad, and help address major health problems faced by relevant countries.
More than 150 authoritative experts, including the leaders from the WHO, WOF, IDF, NHCC, CDCC, CPMA, and CNS, Nobel Prize winners, academicians, editor-in-chief of well-known academic journals, university presidents, and hospital deans will participate in the conference and conduct academic exchanges.
